Hello Friends! I have a question about the Lipton Onion Mix? Are they legal to use on hamburger patties?? I am on phase 1 and put some on my patties to have a Hamburger Salad. I looked at the contents and they have no sugar. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

I have mixed feelings on this.

I believe that to be very strict on SBD, you shouldn't use these products until phase 2

Thanks Karen! I just had it at home (1 packet) and didn't use the whole packet. I just sprinkled some on the front and back of 2 patties and through the rest away. I'll try the other suggestions you gave me for next time. I don't need any cravings : )

Hi, Basically it's the hamburger w/o the bun but I make my own.

I get the pre-made patties, grill it and put fat free cheese on top until it's melted. I lay down lettuce and put the patty on top, put 3 slices of tomato, and pickles. It's very good and filling. But this time I sprinkled some Lipton on it to give it a different flavor which we all learned is a no-no so I won't do that again but you can season the patties in other ways.

Oh ok. I call it a naked burger. I occassionally go to Backyard Burger and order a hamburger (no cheese and no mayo and no ketchup) and a salad. I remove the bun and use my fork and knife to eat the burger with mustard pickle, lettuce, tomato and onion. I get some very unusual looks but it's good so who cares.
