Hi there my name is Michelle and I am ready, How long do you go on Phase 1? I am 240lbs right now and want to get to 220lbs then 180lbs then will see from there when I was 180 I think I looked good. I have alot of belly fat I am 5'6 almost 5'7 but not quite and very very Busty. Do the boobs leave I really hope so.

Welcome to the board Michelle! As Cathy said, phase 1 is for 2 weeks. It is detrimental to your weight loss efforts and health to stay on it longer than that. Its simply a detox period, phase 2 is the "weight loss phase". I lost 8lbs in phase 1, did it for exactly 2 weeks - not a minute more, then lost 59lbs in phase 2. Phase 2 is where all the "magic" happens!

Well, for some yes, for some no. They did for me, BUT I was never large to begin with. When I was in high school/before kids I was barely a B. When I gained weight I got up to a D. Now I am an A. I don't so much mind the size, but going up and then down - well, they certainly aren't "perky" A's!

and jewlery lol anyway today i weight in at 229, but i let my self thing 230 a round #.
ivillage is great i am new at this but i read a lot of peoples stories and i was so inspired, that i thought you know what? i can do this. i like you want to got to 200 and than 180 and than 165. i would be happy at that. although before marriage and kids i was only 115. but that was long ago lol.. so my friend you have to take one day at a time and you can do it. it is not that bad! than cooking for the family, i could not stand it. so gave up on myself gained it all back and more, and than i could not even tell you how many times i started SBD and did not have the will to stick with it. i dont know how much you want to loose, but i want to loose at least 70lb. i came to the point and i said to myself i can do it, and i will.
i am 47 yrs old i want to be heatlhy and take care of my kids. and i want to look good for me. i have to say ivillage helped me a lot! i read all the stories of women going thru the same crap with weight just like me. the first week was a little hard, but i all i need to do is tell my self i am strong and i can do this! and you know what i am doing it. AND SO CAN YOU!! YOU CAN DO IT! do one week at a time. i am on my second week on phase one. i starded on a sunday on i was 237lb and on on friday is was 229 on tuesday i was 227, i did have a piece of friut a couple of times and ove the holiday i did good but still had a couple of pears and a couple of peaches. i figured better than other stuff i could have eaten.. but you know what i am taking it slow. and that is what you have to do. one day at a time, my friend ! keep in touch let me know how you are doing please!
