Day 1...need some help

Hello!

Thank you for posting all the great tools listed on the board, especially "Getting Started." I have the SBD book but haven't read it cover to cover. The boards are somewhat more helpful tight now than the book...information overload!

I felt very prepared to start. However, I just started today and have apparently already messed up. I accidentally bought Lowfat plain yogurt rather than Fat Free. How bad is it if I eat the Lowfat vs. FF?

One other question...I am in the first few weeks of a 5K running program. I am at 2 miles plus power walk to round out 30 minutes per session right now. Any recommendations on the best Phase 1 foods to eat before my workout?

LF plain yogurt is perfectly fine! It's on the Foods to Enjoy list. Here's a link... http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-fbsouthbeach&msg=22273.1&ctx=0&redirCnt=1

I'm sure somebody else will chime in with pre-workout food suggestions. GL!!!

Thanks! I am glad there is so much support here. I actually worked out prior to reading your reply. I ended up drinking milk with whey protein powder (which I understand isn't recommended...but it has 2g of sugar per serving so hope not too bad). I had peanut butter with celery for afternoon snack.

I am going to use your pre-workout suggestions in the future. Thanks again!
