Well I blew it.....

Hello everyone, I started SB 2 days ago and the first day I did great, I felt good and ate good. Then the second day came around.. I had a good day until evening when we were around a bunch of friends and they all decided to go get mexican food and so I went and just couldnt' control myself and ate like I never new about the SB diet ways! Then I was so depressed I ate chocolate and instead of starting over today I screwed up today just because I was mad for not sticking to another diet. I really want this to work. I know all the info and it sounds and seems so great and is what I believe I really need. I guess I need to know if i can start my 14 days over now or will the way i ate the last 2 days sabotage my next 2 weeks? I guess I just need to some encouragement. I feeling down and that always seems to turn me to food. Anyway thanks for reading and listening!

Hi. We all have ups and downs. If you are committed to losing weight there's no reason to start over again. Just pick up right where you left off on phase 1. When I did phase 1 almost 4 years ago, I tried to avoid social events as much as possible during those 2 weeks. I knew the temptations would be too difficult for me. It's also very important to plan. Make sure you always have sb-friendly foods available for weak moments. If you do have to attend social events you may want to eat a sb meal before you go -- at least until you've established yourself and are more comfortable with this woe.
Stick with us, we'll help you get going....post often and let us know if you have something ahead of you that might be difficult to get through. We have tons of ideas here and we're here for you! Good luck!
Hi,
Welcome!
I know I've had days like that too & it's important to just pick yourself up & keep going with renewed determination. I also had to minimize social outings for the first 2 weeks so I could stay on track. It was worth it! Even now (I've been doing SB for at least 9 months) I sometimes bring my own dinner/treats to my IL's house b/c it's so hard to say on track there.
GL & we're here to support you!
