Hi Everyone,
The posts here are very informative. I just learned that I am not getting enough dairy. Anyhoo, I am on Day 4 of South Beach P1. I did South Beach several years ago and lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks.
When I go to the gym after work, I find that I have WAY LESS energy than before doing South Beach. I suspect it's from lowering my carbs. I am fairly sure I am eating enough. Are there any foods I can incorporate to up my energy? I worry that I may be eating too many nuts too. I am tempted to add in carbs to get me through my 30 min cardio routine but I don't want to. Since starting on Monday, I have lost 2 pounds and want to keep it going.

Hi Nicole and welcome back!
It is normal to see a lack of energy in phase 1. Some here found it necessary to cut back on exercise until their energy level returned.
