I'm New and would love Help - Day 1

Hi Everyone!
Just started today and feel super excited about the "new way of life". Only have about 10-15 to lose, but want to do it the right way. Anywho, started today and had a little extra peanut butter after a 4-5 walk (after working out...) in NYC. I was so famished! Hopefully, this won't start me on the wrong foot, but I want to be completely honest.
Thanks already for all of the helpful materials...Any extra advice? What was the hardest part of the first week?

When I started (almost 4 years ago), I got through the first week easily. I started by using the meal plans in the book for the first three days. I figured three days would be manageable. Then I planned the next three days according to the book. By day 5 or 6 I really had the hang of it and was comfortable substituting other foods from the Foods to Enjoy list.
So, my best advice is to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN. Make sure you know what meals you'll be eating and have plenty of sb-friendly snacks available. It's important in phase 1 to eat whenever you are hungy. You should never feel deprived. Just choose your foods wisely.
