Questions and Comments about Phase 1

Hi All,
I am officially on Day 1 of Phase 1. I've come up with some questions about this whole two week thing that I thought I would post here. Here it goes:
1. Did I follow the phase 1 diet correctly today?
b-two eggs, reduce 2% cheese, coffee 1 cup, splenda, and 1% milk
s-celery, sm. slice of 2% cheddar cheese
l-chicken salad, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and balsamic and olive oil.
got hungry and ate pastacios (30) and some edamaye beans
d-chicken breast sauted in balsamic, olive oil, zucchini, fresh tomatoes, and a little bit of parmsean cheese
plain yogurt with splenda
To drink I have been drinking crystal light.
2. I've seen some people on the thread measure out their veggies like for salad do i need to monitor this while on phase 1? I am still usually hungry about an hour or two after eating and I am so wanting a chocolate bar. That is my weakness, not the bread or chips, it is the candy and ice cream also. So what would be okay to eat when I am hungry?
3. Is anyone willing to be my support through this two week phase? i can sure use the support, I am only on my first day and I am ready to jump the wagon. I can't beleive how difficult this is for me because a few years ago I did WW and I was perfectly fine with it. I am really nervous about doing it this time around. I know that once I start losing weight then I will be okay, but it is just the start of it.

Hi there! I'm by no means an expert ~ just a fellow southbeacher. I'm sure our wonderful cl's can help with your menu today. The only thing that really stands out to me is that you did have quite a bit of cheese. I'd just tweak it a little. With your eggs in the AM maybe you could scramble in some onions, peppers and any other veggies you like. Also add some protein. It will help you to feel full longers (some turkey bacon for example) I also see you didn't have a snack between lunch and dinner. I know personally that is the time of day I'm hungriest. I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! For my "fix" I'll have a cup of Carb Countdown chocolate milk ~ it totally hits the spot. Don't forget you need 2 servings of dairy a day. Also buy yourself some sugar free fudgsicles. They are very yummy. If you want something REALLY good take a sf fudgesicle microwave it for about 15 secs mix in 1tsp natural peanut butter and 1tsp sugar free cool whip. It tastes JUST like a reeses peanut butter cup ~ YUMMY! and legal for a "sweet" treat in phase 1. Continue to post and you'll get a LOT of support. This is a great way to lose weight and feel great :-)
Good luck to you!! (oh and for me the first 4 days of phase 1 were the hardest. My cravings pretty much diminished on the 5th day)
