Hello!
I think I have finally hit a point where I have realized I have got to make a change! My plan is to get rid of everything in my kitchen that is not SBD P1 friendly over the next two days and will be starting SBD P1 on Tuesday.
Does anyone have any tips on staying motivated? My husband is a fried-food junkie, and no matter how much I try, he will not eat the same things I eat. He is superbly picky and will not be doing the diet with me. He is huge on high-carb foods and sweets/junk food. Any tips??
My plan is to walk about 30 mins every day, once or twice a day if I have time, and to also incorporate some cardio/strength building exercise twice a week (to start) via a Denise Austin video that I recently purchased. I have a gym in my complex, but I am one of those people that does not like to work out in front of others (especially now that the pool is open and all those women in their teeny bikinis are out there)!
Just wanted to say hello. I am hoping that this forum becomes a tool in me succeeding. I have read the South Beach Diet original book and also just purchased the SBD cookbook.
Wish me luck!
I am currently 5'0, and I weigh about 170lbs (jean size is 16-18). I am 23 years old. So, my idea goal is to get down to 115. I have some of the jeans that I wore in high school in the upstairs closet, and those are kind of my measuring points. They are a size 7/9, so I am hoping to be able to feel confident and wear them by the end of the year.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here!
Thanks!
