last day of P1

I dropped by to introduce myself 2 1/2 weeks ago when I started P1. I was 161.5 when I started. I have stayed on P1 a few extra days (explanation later) and today is the last day, and I was 154 this morning!
I had a little "downfall" a week ago Saturday when I indulged in a giant cookie at a farmers market we were visiting. It was a family outing and the kids wanted muffins. There was nothing SBD friendly there and I was confused and didn't know what to pick. I gained 3 lbs from that stupid cookie! At least it was enough to teach me never to do that again. If it wasn't for that mistake, I might be closer to 150 now. My goal is 130.
I'm not looking forward to gaining in P2, but I am looking forward to the new food choices. Whole grains isn't a hard switch for me, but avoiding sugars and sweets is. I hate artificial sweeteners, so I'm just trying to avoid as much sweets as possible.
And I just want to add that this board is a wealth of information. I have learned so much here that wasn't covered in the book. Thank you all!!!

Congratulations Kathy!!! You've done great!!! Please don't worry about starting P2. Any weight gain at the beginning is only temporary. You may not even gain anything. I think I gained a couple of pounds, but it was gone very quickly. Just take it slow with adding in the grains and fruits and you'll do fine !!!
