I am restarting the SB diet again and this is my 1st day so far so good but I wanna eat some nuts tonight while cooking dinner. i don't remember seeing in the book how many servings I can have a day. It shows how many but could I eat 1 or 2 servings

I am going to finally try the chocolate milk tonight and the ricotta(sp) desert. I also bought some low carb ice cream barbs its like 5gms per serving is that off limits and can I use that as my dairy intake for the day since it is ice cream bar

thanks

See ya

Welcome Mo!

I can't tell you if your low carb ice cream bars are acceptable without more information. The package should read 'sugar-free' or 'no sugar' added and they must be under 100 calories.

For lots of Phase 1 information please take a look at our Getting Started thread: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-fbsouthbeach&msg=26363.1&ctx=256

Also, here is the nut list (with limits) so you can start munching while you cook your dinner:

Im on Phase I and I think I may have consumed too much sunflower seeds. I buy rye ones and roast them myself. Is this really bad? Why is it not good?

You can have sunflower seeds. The reason why nuts and seeds are limited is because they are more calorie dense and it's important that we get a wide range of nutrients in a variety of foods each day.
