Just finished phase 1!!!! (& a few ?'s)

I'm so excited that I did it! I finished phase 1 and to celebrate, I cheated a little with 4 pieces of sushi, but I don't think that was too bad!

I was really impressed with how well this is working for me. I didn't find it too hard and could keep doing it, except I know that that would not be the best plan! I lost just over 5 pounds during phase 1 and I'm very pleased with that. The best part about this diet is that it has taken away all cravings and I don't have a hard time at all saying no to things I shouldn't have. I'm surprised on how little I miss.

So, for my questions, I have read through the phase two section and plan to introduce one fruit and one grain serving back into my diet. My plan is to have the fruit with breakfast and the grain (whole wheat pasta or whole grain rice) back in with dinner. Is that how I do it? I mean, does it matter what time of day or with what meal I have these? I don't think so, but wanted to make sure. Also, if I were to make a dessert like sugar free pudding, where it is a starch, does that replace the grain, or am I fine having it in addition to what I'm adding in?

Thanks again for everything. I love this board and have found the ideas, recipes and support so invaluable! I can't wait to lose the next 5 pounds over the next month or so! When I started out my goal was to lose 10 pounds from July 5th to September 3rd, I think I'm going to do it! It's only a small goal of course, then I will need to go on and lose 10 more pounds, six more times! LOL!

That's exactly how I started phase 2.

Congrats Ramona! I started P2 with cereal for breakfast and a piece of fruit in the afternoon. I'm sure you'll be fine. Just do what works best for you.
