Skipping Phase 1?

I have been reading all the information on here about the diet, and have the SBD Cookbook which has a certain amount of diet details in the front. I am tempted to try this, but don't eat meat. I feel that Phase 1 would be just too boring to do with just fish and eggs, and am tempted to try the Phase 2 start instead as speed of weight lossis less important to me than eating healthily. But I'd love to have some feedback from those who also started this way. Is there anyone here who did that and can offer some advice?

I am sure I've read this b4 but so happy to read right now because I am miserable on Phase 1!!!!!

If you have any questions as you get started in phase 2, just ask.
Kris, be brave. I started in phase 2 and am not sorry. Although things have now slowed somewhat, I did lose 8 pounds in my first two weeks (of phase 2).
Go for it, but remember to start with only one fruit and one grain in week 1. I find that most days I only want one fruit, but I am happy to have the grains.....!
