Actually I've been exercising and working out 5-6 days a week since July 1st.   But I wasn't seeing the scale move the way I want it to and I realized that it was my diet that needed a change.  Overall just exercise and eating normal portions but not counting calories got me 15 lbs lost.  It's been a very slow weight loss, considering I've been logging between 8 to 15 hrs a week at the gym. 

Today was day 3 of SBD and I've lost 5 lbs.  I cannot wait to see what more I've lost tomorrow.  I know it's not good to weigh myself every day, but I think that depends on the person.  For me it keeps me honest and keeps me on track. 


Funny thing is that I've been eating fruit (oranges and grapefruits)  and an occasional SBD protein bar because I work out soooo hard at the gym.  I don't think it would be wise for me to eliminate ALL carbs right now.  But it must be working, because I've lost 5 lbs since Monday.  Oh and I've ate some steamed carrots. 


I'm so excited.

Great job!!!


I'm a weekly weigher b/c I am obsessive and would become more discouraged rather than motivated although I do believe the daily is better. Clear as mud? Great!!


Keep up the good work - sounds like the modified version of phase 1 is going wonderful!!! You're gonna love phase 2!

It's good to see it working for someone else. I'm on day five, having started out on phase 2. My scales register 5 pounds gone today. So I'm a happy "beacher" too!
