Start of day 3. . .

Well the first 2 days are done. Only a slight headache last night, so that was better. But got my period last night and I think the PCOS is making it worse then it has been for a long time. I had cramps so bad last night I curled in a ball and cried. Totally not normal for me. But the diet is going well. DH bought a new scale for me last night as the old digital one quit working. He thinks it is just a battery that needs to replaced but couldn't find the size we needed. So he bought me a dial scale. Weighed myseld this morning ... not getting too excited about it since it is a new scale. (but I did do a little dance) I am holding off the real celbration until Friday. I go back to the doctor then and I will get weighed on their scale and see where I am at. Only problem that I see right now is that my kids are going to eat all my veggies before I get a chance to. Last night I made a chicken stir fry and gave it to the kids along with some noodles (youngest doesn't like rice). When we got done eating there was enough left for me to have some at another meal. I asked the twins to put the pans on the stove while I took a quick shower. When I got out of the shower they had eaten all the stir-fry except for about 1 cup.. if that. Their reply when asked what happened to it "It was real good mom, you need to make more" I just want to thank everyone on the board for their advice and wisdom. I have read many of the past posts and got many ideas. I am starting to read the recipe section.

I think you're going to need to make even more veggies so you'll have enough for you.
Sorry to hear about your bout with cramps last night Paula but hopefully you're feeling better today? hat's funny about your twins eating up your stir-fry -- my boys (ages 6 and 3) mostly just wrinkle their noses and make gagging sounds...
Welcome to the Beach!
