Hey guys!

Ok, I'm on my third day of phase 1, so I'm still very new to this. Everything is going well so far, with the exception of some intense carb cravings last night. But i pushed through them...I guess thats just bound to happen some time! Ok, but as a newbie, I have a few questions. If you could just answer as many of them that you know, that would be great!

a. So I found these sugar free dove chocolates the other day. The food list says that sugar free HARD candies are allowed. Since these are chocolate, they aren't "hard." They have less than 40 calories per chocolate, and I've only been having one a day...What do you guys thing? Here's the link to the Dove webstie. http://www.dovechocolate.com/SugarFree.aspx

b. Sugar free hot chocolate. Allowed on phase 1?

c. I bought some mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, macadamia nuts, etc.). What would a serving of those be? Also, how many servings of nuts can you have a day? Just one? On that same note, is there a fat limit? Like a certain amount of olive oil, cheese, etc. I can eat in one day?

d. Last one, I promise. I'm a runner, so my normal workout is running about 3-4 miles a few times a week. Normally, this isn't that hard for me. However, when I ran yesterday, I couldn't even make it 2 miles and felt like my body was going to collapse. Is this normal for phase 1?

Thanks so much guys! This whole community is so encouraging!

Also, keep in mind that the "cravings" you are getting under control are blood sugar regulations, not the wanting certain things.
