I am a newbie, I just started yesterday, Sunday 1/13 and I am not sure about food preparation. I have seen different posts and I am a little confused. Could someone please answer my questions.
Is it okay to use salt?
How do I choose a salad dressing?
Are the sauces and cheeses on veggies (frozen) okay?
My mother seasons with turkey and bacon, would it be okay to eat these legumes and/or greens when she cooks them that way?
Should I throw away, my I Can't Believe It's Not Butter tub, or is that okay to use. I read somewhere that we can use the spray. Can we also use the tub?
What would make a recipe work only for phase 2 and not phase 1?? For example: I saw a post for a stir fry (that I want to try) and I noticed that Cathy said she used the sauce in the bag, so I guess that is okay? In times past (on other diets) I would not use that sauce.
I haven't gotten my book yet, its being shipped here (EBAY) and I guess all of these types of questions will be answered there, huh?

Actually our "Getting Started on Phase 1" thread answers your questions...check out the food list there.
Hi,
I'll see if I can help.
Is it okay to use salt?
Joy,
You beat me to it.
We were probably responding at the same time.
I don't ever recall saying that you can use a sauce from a bag of stir fry.
Hi Tracey,
No need to apologize.
I was thinking of making of it.
Woohoo!!
