I have heard so many good thigns about the peanut butter smoothy so I went out and bought a blender.

I made one last night, I have got to be doing something wrong, it was very tart in the after taste and there was a lot of foam but I must have chosen the wrong mix/blend/liquify choice.  I also  know I need more ice next time.

I used sweet and low instead of equal...could this be it?

I love peanut butter and woudl love to figure out what the heck I am doing wrong.

Any info is appreciated!

Hi,

Here's what I do:

1 cup skim or soy milk or a combination of milk & non-fat plain yogurt (using yogurt will make it more tart)

1 Tablespoon peanut butter

2 to 3 packets of Splenda (depending on how sweet you like it)

I make it exactly the same as Cathy, but I add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

I find that my smoothies are more foamy when I use more milk than yogurt.

I didn't try the smoothie, but I tried the peanut butter cup and I put FF cool whip in it.

Thank you very much!

The recipe I got said milk and yogurt, since I am not a fan of yogurt I am happy I can use much less.

So one cup total (milk or a mix of milk and yogurt?)

I am going to try the pb cups but have to watch it, they could easily be a downfall, similar to pistaccio bark

You don't have to use any yogurt at all in your smoothie.

I have found that smoothies made with milk only and without frozen fruit can be watery.
