not losing in phase 1

anyone else that has/had this same experience please encourage me. i have been 100% for 8 days and i am not loosing (zero pounds). it says you should loose between 8-13 lbs and i am not seeing it.
i would love to hear from anyone that had the same experience in phase 1 and then all of a sudden the weight started coming off. i am afraid this diet may not work for me, and i would hate for that to be the case because it has really been effortless since i am not hungry all the time
here is a typical day for me:
2 hard boiled eggs
salad with crab salad on top, and low carb shrimp soup (6 carbs in 1 serving)
meatloaf (turkey meat, low fat mozz. cheeze, fresh mushrooms, onions, 1 egg, garlic), salad, and summer squash cooked in olive oil and garlic
fage yogart (1 cup, 6 carbs) and sugar free blueberry preserves mixed in 1 carb for snack
coffee with sugar-free cream
drink my water, 45-1 1/2 exercise per day, and no alcohol since i started????????????
someone help me, please tell me it will start coming off.

There's a few things I notice that might be culprits.
Cathy, speaking of canned soups that ARE legal, can you give me the guidelines or examples that might be?
First, SBD isn't about counting carbs.

Our guidelines for canned soup is that is contain allowed South Beach Diet ingredients and have no added sugars. 1 cup should contain less than or equal to 5 grams of sugar and greater than or equal to 4 grams of fiber.
You'll find some Progresso soups work.
i am definately getting enough veggies, i almost always eat 2 huge salads a day and always another plate of veggies throughout the day, whether it be celery, green beans, peppers etc.
the crab salad is imatation crab meat with seasoning and mayo...you can have mayo right, i saw the mayo cilantro in the 1st phase in the book and i am assuming a couple teaspoons is ok?
ideally i would like to lose 30-50lbs, truthfully it's not so much the number as it is that i feel good.
Campbells Cream of "any" soup is not allowed.
International Delights creamer contains hydrogenated oils and isn't allowed.
