I am sooo burned out on celery, I refuse to eat anymore. I havent even eaten but maybe one stalk, but I cannot stand it. I need snack ideas. I already tried the yogurt with jello mix, and that is good, but I want something that has some crunch. I need ideas please, and I dont want to have to look at a vegitable at snack time. Please throw me some good ideas!!

Well, if you're going crunch, I almost always do veggies.

Dill pickles are an option, but they are high in sodium, so watch out for that.

On phase 1 I had a wedge of laughing cow cheese spread onto ham and rolled up.

Turkey Pepperoni crisps are my favorite "crunchy treat". Microwave them for 45 seconds and let them sit for a minute. I like to spread laughing cow cheese on them.

Another favorite is Roasted Garbanzo beans. Rince the canned beans. Spray a little olive oil on top and seson as you like (I like salt and chili powder)

When I need a crunchy snack, I like the All Bran garlic & herb crackers, yummy.

The roasted garbanzo bean recipe also works with white cannelini beans I found out by accident.

Oh - I so have to try this! We did the garbanzo beans before and they were okay - great for phase 1 when you don't have as many options, but not something I would go out of my way to make now. I love the idea of the cannelli beans though! I really need some "keep you full a long time and easy to bring you with you snacks" since I don't have a lunch time between classes this semester. I've been doing a combo of chopped dried fruit and nuts - but I need something different.
