Day 7 Phase 1 Help!

Today is day 7 of phase 1 for me. I have already lost 3 1/2 lbs. My goal for this diet was only to lose about 5-7 lbs. I am doing this more to lose my belly fat because I can never seem to lose it. I am not overweight I currently weigh 130 lbs. but not really seeing any difference in my belly.  I am so bored of eating eggs and rolled up turkey with cheese and salads. Eating a spoonful of peanut butter or having to count out 20 peanuts just is not doing it for me. The protein is definitely filling me up but I'm so bored with meals I'm not eating enough.  I dream at night about cereal or wheat bread with peanut butter and yogurt with some fruit. This has been hard for me, especially breakfasts.  I'm pretty broke and I have to rely on others for making my meals which makes it more difficult. Is it giving up if I move on to phase 2 after one week? I can stick it out another week if absolutely necessary. I want to lose this belly fat and it does not seem to be moving. Help! I'm hungry. I work out every other day doing weight training and aerobics. What difference will another week make on phase 1? Will I get results. I've stuck to the plan and have not cheated a bit. I'm looking for success stories for women who have lost their belly fat because that's what the diet claims to do.

There's no reason why you shouldn't move on to Phase 2. Adding fruits and grains to what you've learned in Phase 1 is healthy eating for the rest of your life. Check out the Recipes folder and the iJournals folder for some great meal ideas. Mixing it up with different meals and recipes is a major part of enjoying the WOE and staying on it!

Good luck!

First it's a way of eating, not really a diet.

I agree that you should move into phase 2.
