Joy mentioned spaghetti squash for my pasta sauce.  Is this a certain kind of squash that you cut to look like spaghetti or can you get it already cut?  Obviously, I don't cook much.

Thanks,

Vicki

There is such a thing as "spaghetti squash". It's a long yellow squash that when you scrape out the meat in the middle, it is stringy like spaghetti. I microwave it for about 6 minutes to make it easier to cut in half, then scrape out the seeds and bake it at 375 for 45 minutes to an hour. Let it cool just a bit and use a fork to scrape out the meat. YUM!

I used to always microwave my spaghetti squash because it was so easy that way.
