Wow, this past week has went by fast! I am almost 6 pounds down, but the first ten pounds comes off easy for me. I am so surprised at how good I feel though. I tried atkins diet a few years back, and it still haunts me! I remember that after the first week on atkins I told my husband that I felt that if I could see into my body, I would be able to see my ateries clogging. I felt so greasy inside on atkins. Honestly, I was expecting that on SB as well. Hasnt happened!!! I actually feel clean on the inside, and I feel better than ever! I know it is because on atkins I was soooo restricted, and I bought into the , "eat all the greasy food you want" hype. On SB though, with eating healthy meats and veggies, I feel really clean!
I also found out something that is going to help me from now on yesterday. I have been struggling to force down celery. I just dont like it, but I like how it fills me up. Well, usually I have it with peanut butter, but yesterday I made tuna salad for lunch, and dipped my celery in it. Surprise for me....tuna knocks the nasty taste of celery out, and I was able to eat the whole dang stock! woo hoo! Filled me right up till snack time!
So, I had a great week, of course I had sugar cravings like mad, but with the sugar free fudge pops, and yogurt, I managed. I even had to make my sons 1st birthday cake! (yeah I will admit I had a small piece) but that is wayyyyy better than the half the cake that I would have eaten! Go me!!
