Hey everyone!
A week into this diet and I'm raving about it to all my friends and have convinced my boyfriend to try it out. However I have a question....
Specifically about the "3 meals, 2 snacks and dessert" recommendation. First let me start off by saying today is the first day of my second week of Phase 1. Like clockwork I've lost about 1.5 lbs every day for the last week, for a total of about 11 lbs so far (my starting weight was 224)....I know, step away from the scale. But in this early phase I'm using the loss each day as strength to stay away from what I thought I could never give up for any period of time...bread and potatoes. Suffice it to say, I've stuck to the "Enjoy" and "Avoid" lists very strictly. However, as the days go by I'm noticing that it's becoming increasingly difficult to eat 3 meals, 2 snacks and dessert. If any one of these meals was a large meal I'd cut back. But I'm getting to the point where If I eat smaller portions I'll easily slip into the too few calories realm. In line with the books recommendations, I drink approximately 100 onces of water each day, so cutting back there doesn't seem like an option. Any advice on how to handle this? How important is it that you eat all meals/snacks/desserts each day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations on such a huge weight loss!
In phase 1 it's important to keep your blood sugar levels even.
Thanks so much for responding...
