Hello South Beach Dieters!! Today is my first day on the South Beach Diet. I am very excited. I was inspired to start this diet by a friend that has been very successful on the South Beach Diet!! I have listed the food I have eaten today! I am going to commit 100% to this diet. Please review the items I have eaten today to make sure I am following the diet correctly. My goal is to loose a total of 60lbs!! I will keep everyone posted on how I am doing! I am ready to get this after pregnancy body looking good for the summer. The extra fat has to go!!!
Food for today!!!
Breakfast!
2 eggs with green peppers, red peppers, onions, cheese (approx. 1 tbsp), and tomatoes
Snack
15 Almonds
Lunch
5 oz turkey burger
Salad - Spinach, tomatoes, cheese (approx. 1 tbsp), 1/2 tbsp bacon bits. 1 tbsp of light ranch dressing
Snack
Celery with 1.5 tbsp of light ranch dressing
2 oz of slice turkey with cheese and spinach
I plan on having the following for dinner;
1 can of salmon with onions and a egg
1 serving of cooked spinach
1 cup of pinto beans
1 cup of milk
Please let me know if I am getting enough protein or if I am eating to much. Also, please let me know some of the dairy products I can have on phase 1. I am having a problem eating plain yogurt or drinking 1% milk or skim milk. Please help.
