Starting South Beach

Good Morning:
i just recently decided I was going to start the South Beach way of life. One of my girfriends recommended this board as a means of support and tips. My first day of Phase 1 will start tomorrow. I read the book and definetly feel I suffer from true cravings. For example, I can eat what I think is a well balanced meal and I'm STARVING an hour to an hour and a half later. I plan to arm myself with lots of chicken, fish, fresh & frozen veggies. Are there any tips or suggestions for getting through these two weeks? I'm 5'4 and weigh about 160. My goal is to get to 125-130.
She told be about the SB peanut butter cups. I haven't tried them yet as I trust her opinion and want a surpise "treat" for myself at the end of my first day. :)
