Hey There! I'm new to the whole world of South Beach I currently weight about 180lbs. and need to lose 40lbs. OMG......It seems like I have tried everything!! I am a new mom of 9 months now life is crazy in my house. I'm looking for any advice on what will work best to get started. Thanks Bunches!!

Hi, and welcome...have you read our "Getting Started" thread?
I just wamted to echo all of what Joy said! I did SB following my first pregnancy and now this one as well. I am nursing so I went straight into full phase 2 but am still losing weight (just slower paced).
Meal planning is key in my house. When things get busy and I don't have a plan, I grab for anything to eat (and its usually unheathly). With SB, I know my menu atleast a day in advance and I have healthy options when I don't have time to think!

Another good way is to realize that this is a way of eating....forever...not a diet.
