Falafel for lunch?

I'm going to a Mediteranean restaurant for lunch.  I plan to order the chicken shishkabob for lunch with a side of yogurt dipping sauce.  They make the freshest, most delicious falafel.  I'm wondering if it's allowed for phase 1?

Thanks!

Most recipes I've seen for falafel contain flour, so my guess would be that they are not approved. They are also usually fried in a fair amount of oil...another concern. I *love* falafel, but haven't had it in years!

Sorry, but I just saw this when I was looking for something else. I get a falafel mix at my local Indian store. The only flour it contains is chickpea flour. I think that's okay. Just something to think about if you are craving falafels.

Yes, that's an option in phase 2.
