Good morning! I am slinking back here yet again to start P1. I have "tried" SBD 2 or 3 times in the past but didn't have the motivation to really stick with it. I have lost 10 lbs. on my own since Christmas, but have known for some time that SBD was what I wanted to do and I firmly believe that it is a healthy way to live.
My husband was diagnosed diabetic last year, so I know that we need to be eating a low GI diet in order for him to control his sugar. I have several of the New Glucose Revolution books, but trying to figure GI and GL for each meal is just too much for me right now.
I really want to do this. This time I have "that feeling" - I just know that I will loose this weight and I am ready to do it. I feel good about the 10 lbs. I have lost already, but know that I am still eating too much processed foods and am ready to commit to P1.
I was going to start today, but we have all been sick for the past 2-3 weeks, and my youngest had a horrible night last night. I have to take her into town (an hour away) to see the doctor at 11:30, and won't be able to do my week's shopping until this afternoon. I'll post more tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Good luck!!
