A few strugges/but doing pretty good

So I am on day 4 of P1 and doing well.  I had a small chili w/cheese from Wendy's last night.  I think I read here a long time ago that that was legal??  I also had 2 glasses of white wine, which I shouldn't have, but I did.  Now, in the past, those two glasses of wine would have sent me into the "I failed" mode and I would have eaten cookies & ice cream before bed and followed it up the next day with a pizza for lunch.  Today, I got up, and just kept cracking on P1.  I hope those 2 glasses don't kill me.  I have been exercising and drinking my water, so hopefully I'll be ok.  One more question:  I have been eating a lot of salad.  How much salad dressing should I be having in a day??  I am using dressing that has 2g sugar content per 1/4 c. serving.  I figure I have 1/4 c. w/each salad.  Please advise.

Great idea w/the sour cream on the chili! I think I'll try that today. Yum. Their sour cream is def. low fat.

This has been FAR FAR easier than any other diet/way of eating I've ever tried. I've hardly ever stuck to any, and the times that I did, it was drudgery. Especially when I had to count calories. i am just not good with that kind of thing. I find the meal planner to be my life saver. (and some of the allowable treats. I just yesterday discovered the plain non fat yogurt w/splenda and vanilla. it's the best!)

I will have been on the Beach for 3 weeks this coming Monday. I did phase 1 for 1 week. I chose to slowly start onto Phase 2, because I felt like my cravings were under control, and I really just wanted to "get on with it" as far as the weight loss phase went. For a few days, NO loss and it drove me nuts. Then this morning I woke up with a reading 2.5 lbs lighter than yesterday. Yay!

This works for me. It really does. It works for my family. Looking at what I CAN eat and how much better I already feel is a huge motivator for me! And really? Don't so much miss the junk. The few bites I've had here and there just aren't any good. The other day at the grocery, I had myself convinced I was "gonna get something!" and everything I looked at I saw in a different way and just KNEW it wouldn't be satisfying anyway so why bother?

You've got a great attitude. Sounds like you're going to do very well with this!
