A "Joy"ous New Year Journal
50
Tue, 01-01-2008 - 1:29pm

Tuesday, January 1st

Official starting weight for the new year is 135.  My goal is 115.  This time last year I was at 165.

Breakfast:

2 deviled eggs

Coffee with skim milk

Lunch (on the early side today):

Leftover skillet paella (included lots of veggies, and about 1 grain serving)

Afternoon Snacks:

Mug of vegetable soup

Kellogg's All Bran Crackers

Strawberry smoothie

Cherry tomatoes

Dinner:

My best-laid dinner plans went awry...no one was in the mood for salmon (other than me), so that will go on tomorrow's menu instead.  I just wish they had told me before I had my All Bran crackers, though!

Beef enchiladas (made with WW tortillas; not really enchiladas, but close enough)

Roasted asparagus and red peppers

Evening Snack:

Sliced strawberries

Exercise/Activity:

15 minutes recumbent bike; 30 minutes elliptical; upper and lower body weights (the machines I didn't do yesterday)
