SATURDAY, JANUARY 4th
Not feeling creative enough to come up with a catchy name for this months journal...maybe next month.
I'm trying to get back into the swing of things following the holidays and my mom's death. I'm finding it harder than I thought...but I'm determined not to let life get the best of me!! The kids and I "undecorated" the tree today, and otherwise are just being lazy.
BREAKFAST: my version of "berry almond swiss oatmeal"--whole grain "hot" cereal served cold, mixed w/ LF vanilla yogurt & soymilk, w/ sliced banana, strawberry, diced apple, a couple raisins & 1 Tbsp sliced almonds
SNACK:
LUNCH: leftover chili w/ FF sour cream
SNACK:
DINNER: grilled tilapia & veggies...well, that was the plan. Didn't feel like making it, though, so I had 2 MS Farms "chicken" strips & steamed carrots
SNACK: Triscuits w/ cheese (probably too much cheese); 1 slice chocolate covered apple

MONDAY, JANUARY 7th
BREAKFAST: yogurt w/ PB & splenda; coffee w/ FF H&H, splenda, cocoa & cinnamon
SNACK:
LUNCH: black bean soup w/ dollop of FF sour cream
SNACK: 4 Triscuits w/ 1 wedge LC cheese; banana
DINNER: chicken breast stuffed w/ spinach, sundried tomatoes & goat cheese w/ lemon sauce; brown rice; skim milk
SNACK: warm SF choc pudding w/ FF whipped cream
EXERCISE: 30 min TM

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9th
I'm feeling much better this week, getting back on track and back into my regular schedule. :o)
OK, well I *was* feeling better and more relaxed, til the mail came today and I had to spend a half hour on the phone with 3 different people from the same office dealing with issues over my mom's benefits. GRRRR!!! Can't these people get ANYTHING right
BREAKFAST: yogurt w/ PB & splenda; coffee w/ FF H&H, cocoa, cinnamon & splenda
SNACK:
LUNCH: egg beaters omelet w/ spinach, onion, roasted red pepper & goat cheese; blueberry bran muffin; a few pieces of dried fruit
SNACK: chai green tea latte; 1/2 WW pita w/ hummus; 2 pieces dried fruit (really hungry!)
DINNER: Bunco night...no clue!

MONDAY, JANUARY 21st
I really need to get my &@# together this week! I've been struggling since before Christmas, and have gone back up to 136.5...I'd like to get back to 130 by my birthday, March 19th. Should be doable if I can stay on track!
