Tuesday, January 8th
My mother-in-law is having a triple by-pass today. I'll be spending most of the afternoon at the hospital in New York. So the afternoon is fuzzy.
Exercise:
5k run
abs
Pre-workout:
Blueberry smoothie
Post workout:
Turkey breast, laughing cow cheese & roasted red peppers on a mini ww bagel
v8
Lunch:
Morningstar Chicken Griller with sliced tomato
A can of green beans
soy milk
Snack:
Dinner:
White Chicken Chili

Tropical smoothie (Soy milk, Dole frozen tropical fruit, flax seeds, coconut extract & splenda)

Turkey, laughing cow, roasted peppers & wasa crisps

Salad w/ tuna, white beans & artichoke hearts
skim milk & 2 clementines

cherry tomatoes

Stuffed pepper (ground beef, brown rice, tomato & seasonings)

Thursday, January 10th

Lentil, brown rice & spinach soup

2 clementines
Snack:
raw sugar snap peas & cherry tomatoes

Friday, January 11th
Exercise:
Spinning & abs
7 a.m.
Caramel latte
9 a.m.
yogurt w/ blueberries & splenda
11:30 a.m.
Diced eggplant, tomato & couscous salad
v8 & 2 diced kiwi
3:00 p.m.
Mug of lentil & spinach soup
Dinner:
I think we get a night alone.

Saturday, January 12th
Exercise:
1 hour run with Frank
Pre-run:
yogurt with banana, pb & splenda
Post run:
eggplant & onion frittata (This turned into scrambled eggs with eggplant & onion)
v8
Lunch:
Leftover stuffed pepper
Cantaloupe
Snack:
Root beer float
Snack:
Hummus, cherry tomatoes & triscuits
Dinner:
Grilled shrimp
White beans & escarole sauteed with garlic & oil

Smoked salmon with cucumbers, tomato & light cream cheese

1 hour lower body strength training
7 a.m.
Sugar-free caramel latte
Pre-workout - 9 a.m.
blueberry/flax smoothie
(1 cup of frozen blueberries, 1 1/2 cups of soy milk, 1 tbs. flax, splenda & vanilla extract)
Post workout - 11 a.m.
Steel cut oats with diced apple, chopped mixed nuts, sugar-free maple syrup

Lunch:
Spaghetti squash with broccoli, pesto & ricotta
Snack:
Dinner:
Halibut with oranges & angel hair
