Note to readers: I just visited my doctor yesterday; he recommends for me a 1,000 calorie-per-day diet as well as count calories, due to my difficulty in losing weight. (I might flex that up somewhat, I will see as I go.) This journal may not be a text-book perfect picture of SBD - I've got to adapt the plan as needed. :)

Busy day! I had a flu shot yesterday and feel kind of sore & tired; taking the exercise lightly today.
Exercise: PM at home - treadmill w/incline, 30 mins
Fuel:
7:00 - Optimum Slim cereal (200), soymilk (70). low-sodium V8 (40), supplements & meds
9:00 - coffee with soy creamer (35), Splenda.
1:00 - homemade turkey/chicken chili, about 1.5 cups. (250?) water.
5:00 - 1 c. plain soy yogurt (120). Splenda.
8:00 - salad: 2 c. romaine (15), 1/2 tomato (10), 1/3 avocado (80), 1 egg white (21), 2 oz chicken breast (100), 1 slice turkey bacon chopped (35). lemon juice. water.
Total cals: 976

Hi Joy,
It's more effort to count calories, but then I get into a groove and it gets much easier.
