2/1/08 Friday
3 grains, 2 or 3 fruits, 4 1/2 cups veggies (1/2 cup beans), 2 dairy
AM: diet soda, coffee, cereal w/ff milk
lunch: deli chicken breast & cheese on ww toasted with a little mayo, 1 tomato sliced, 1/2 cucumber w/1T salad dressing
snack: pear, cashews, diet green tea
dinner: BBQ on 1/2 white hamburger bun, coleslaw, 1/4 cup baked beans, 1/4 cup potato salad, 1 slice cheese, 4 triscuits, mixed fresh fruit
dessert: 1 small piece b'day cake (about 5 bites)
PM:
3G, 2F, 4V, 1D
exercise/activity:
Went to my niece-in-law's 30th birthday party this evening. Probably could have done better with what I had to eat. At least I ate pretty small portions.

AM: diet soda, coffee (slept thru breakfast...got up at 11am)
lunch: 2 pieces turkey bacon, shredded cheese w/a little mayo on ww toasted, 1/2 cucumber w/1T salad dressing, 1/2 tomato
snack: apple, cheese stick, yogurt cup
dinner: 2 cups chicken tortilla soup (without the tortillas), Garden Harvest chips (1.5 servings)
dessert: 4 dk chocolate Hershey kisses
PM: banana NPB smoothie
2.5G, 2F, 4V, 2D
exercise/activity:
Just not feeling well today. I think DH & I have picked up DD's crud. Am hoping that a relaxing & restful day at home today will help us both to feel better.

lunch: California chicken salad (O'Charley's), 1 yeast roll, 4 bites omelet, 1 french fry from DD's plate
snack: Starbuck's skinny latte
dinner: 2 cups chicken tortilla soup (without the tortilla), diet green tea
dessert:
PM: blueberry smoothie (double fruit)
1G, 2.5F, 5V, 2D
exercise/activity: shopping all afternoon

lunch: 2 cups chicken tortilla soup (no tortillas), 1 serving Garden Harvest chips
snack: Lite Mocha Frappucino (personal choice), apple, sf pudding cup
dinner: steak fajita salad on ww tortilla
dessert:
PM: banana smoothie w/sf cookie dough syrup

exercise/activity: Kathy Smith upper body workout
AAARRRRGGGG...DD got a 'write-up' at school today for being too long in the restroom. At least that is what she says happened. We'll see when I get my note back from her teacher tomorrow. This is the first 'write-up' for DD and I sure hope it's the last. Between that and a school project that is due tomorrow (that she forgot to tell us about until late Saturday and she needed modeling clay for), I'm about to pull all my hair out...
Tomorrow is take Mother to the dr day...and dress shop for my nephew's wedding at the end of the month. And voting day...will be a busy day!!!

It's good to see that there is someone else who likes their diet soda for breakfast.
Well, now you must let us know what the teacher had to say!
Thanks Misty!!! It was a busy day, but a fun one. I really like spending time with my Mother. Don't do it often enough!!!

Hey Jen!!! Yeah, I do like my diet soda in the morning!!! I have quite a few medicines that I take in the morning and I've always found it easier to get them down with a diet soda, than with water. Guess it helps to get me going in the mornings!!!
