Can we have imitation lobster???

I bought it on a whim thinking I could make some type of meal out of it, it just looked so good. So, 2 questions.... is imitation ok on SB?? I know there was a discussion about the imitation crab quiche maybe having too much sugar. This has 5g sugar per 1/2 cup (which in a meal I would probably only eat a 1/4 c.).

And second question, aside from making the crab quiche with lobster instead, anyone know of a good recipe where I can use this stuff???? It says "cooked and ready to serve" so if it is allowed I supposed I could just throw it on top of a salad, right??

Thanks for any info!!

Hi Sue,

I just came on here to ask the same question...I just came home from the grocery store and had bought the same thing! I was thinking of adding it to a salad, or maybe using it in place of the imitation crab in the quiche. Hopefully someone will know if it's allowed!
