Oat Flour vs Whole Wheat?

I don't care of the tast of whole wheat flour. Have any of you substitued oat flour in any of your recipes? I did in an apple cheesecake recipe I got off here, and it was great! Definitely had an oatmeal flavor, but we loved it.

Just wondering if any of you ever sub one flour for another, and which works and which don't.

I haven't done much baking, but one recipe I had called for a mixture of whole wheat flour and oat flour. It seemed to work out fine.
