How do you think this sounds for dinner?

I do have WW pasta, but already had all the carbs today that I can handle (p2). So I am fixing him some, but I am steaming some leftover cut up broccoli and cauliflower that I keep to snack on, and will put the sauce over that, along with some Parmesan cheese.
I read a similar idea here for eating out, to ask for pasta sauce to be put over steamed veggies. I can't wait to see how it is!
And BTW--I think I may have found a pizza substitute. I took a corn tortilla, added some tomato sauce and lite Mozzarella and plenty of spices. Baked on my pizza stone and BAMM! Pizza flavor, texture, crunch, and cheesiness without binge factor (before, I would think NOTHING of eating an entire large pizza. Thanks, Little Caesars Hot'N'Ready $5 Pizza). This was reasonably filling, and with a huge salad and my Metamucil, I was happy.

Sounds great to me!
When I get paid and can (finally) go to the grocery store, I will get the SF syrup. I really haven't had a need for it, as I don't want to go anywhere near anything that looks like a pancake just yet!
It sounds really, really yummy. Good thing I love chicken and stocked up an a big bag of frozen boneless chix breasts last week!
Good luck!

Also, have you tried making the pizza with whole wheat wrap/taco instead? I don't think the corn taco is legal on SBD. Just a thought. I've tried the ww wrap and it makes a wonderful pizza (I posted the recipe earlier).
Looked it up--depending on the brands, the GI of a corn tortilla alone ranges from 38 to 52. (Low to Moderate) Adding a protein like the LF mozzarella cheese lowers it even more. And taken with the Metamucil AND the salad w/balsamic vinegar and olive oil plus veggies, I think it makes an OCCASIONAL satisfying substitute for eating an entire large Little Caesars pizza.
Next time I will try a different store to look for the whole wheat one, but the GI is not much different. God KNOWS I don't want to trigger another binge-fest!!!!!!
From the book--corn and corn products are in the "avoid or eat rarely" category during P2.
I'll eat them very rarely, until I run out. Then I'll look for the others.
Thanks for the suggestions and advice! Keep it comin'!
Try this spaghetti squash recipe - it is amazing!!!
