It's easier to make healthy meal choices when you have all of the ingredients ready to go & recipes ideas listed & quick to choose from.
There's no rules for how to meal plan.
You can plan certain meals for specific days,
or simply list the week's "choices."
It's ok if you don't end up following your plan; life happens.
Other bonuses include:
A less stressful early evening (you KNOW what you're going to make).
Money savings (less eating out).
Fewer trips to the food store.
Won't you give it a whirl?

Here's another thing I do....
SAVE my meal plans from the past (I email them to myself & put into a separate "meal plans" folder). Later on you can refer back to them for effortless future meal plans!

Trudy
As you know meal planning is a big part of my life. I feed daycare kids 3 meals a day and my family 3 meals a day. Way to much to remember, so I take a notebook and right down a plan and then make a list from that plan. Really does make life easier. Then when I finish a notebook I toss it in my bottom desk drawer, for later when I need inspiration. LOL~
Sunday ~ Sirloin burger on the grill, spinach and black beans
Monday ~ Scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and WW toast (Late dinner)
Tuesday ~ Sirloin burgers on the grill, (the boys had hotdogs and brat's on Sunday), and salad
Wednesday ~ Lamb steaks on the grill, cleaning out the fridge veggies
Thursday ~ Typically Leftover night! But I can't stomach another red meat~ LOL~ So I'm having fish on the Forman and leftover veggies
Friday ~ Grocery night~ I usually pick up a salad at the store
Saturday ~ Supposedly it suppose to rain, but I wanted to grill out~ Otherwise I have deer round in freezer and I need to decide what to do with it. BBQ probably~
Trudy, try seafood!
Susan :)
Wednesday: Salmon patties w/curry sauce, salad
Thursday: mahi mahi (caught by DH in NC), tomatoes with gorgonzola, pecans and really good extra virgin olive oil.
Friday: having dinner with neighbors: london broil, ginger and sesame asparagus (I am bringing), whatever else that is SBD friendly.
Saturday: whole wheat pasta with spicy seafood tomato sauce
Sunday: going to a christening - don't know if I can resist the cake - has always been my downfall.
