Hi all. I've never cooked with a crock pot before, but your recipes look so good, and I think it would help make life easier, so I'm going to get one and start cooking. So here's my question: What kind of crock pot should I get? Does anyone have a favorite brand? There are so many out there, I don't really know what features to look for.

TIA,

Ellie

I think the original brand is Crock Pot itself. It made by a company called Rival. The generic name for it is slow cooker, and I'm not sure what other companies make it now, but I would buy a Crock Pot by Rival.

You definitely should get the larger size. Also, I prefer the kind that has the removable liner -- it makes it easier to clean.

You will love using the Crock Pot! Imagine, you throw everything in in the morning, you can be gone all day, and you come home to dinner, all ready!
