It's easier to make healthy meal choices when you have all of the ingredients ready to go & recipes ideas listed & quick to choose from.

There's no rules for how to meal plan.
You can plan certain meals for specific days,
or simply list the week's "choices."
It's ok if you don't end up following your plan; life happens.

Other bonuses include:
* A less stressful early evening
(because you KNOW what you're going to make).
* Money savings (less eating out).
* Fewer trips to the food store.

Won't you give it a whirl?

Here's another thing I do....
SAVE my meal plans from the past (I email them to myself & put into a separate "meal plans" folder). Later on you can refer back to them for effortless future meal plans!

Today's menu...

B: 2 hard-boiled eggs and a 5.5 oz V-8

MS: Light n Fit yogurt, reduced fat cheddar, and a big decaf with Sweet n Low

L: romaine and spinach topped with chili

AS: an apple and a handful of nuts

D: boiled cabbage and venison sausage - I'll probably have a slice of whole grain sunflower bread with it and a vanilla ricotta creme for dessert

here some ideas for veggie SBDs (or for meat eaters who want to try something new!)

monday = tempeh patty seasoned with lemon and garlic. spinach salad. sweet potato "fries".

tues = veggie curry - store bought sauce mixed with garbanzo beans, soy chicken, brocc., green beans & a tomato.

wed = veggie chili & side salad

thurs = tofu scramble with tomato in an ezekial pita pocket

friday = going to david sedaris, so i will probably just have to grab something quick like cottage cheese and tomato!
