Fudgesicles...

The only sugar free fudgsicle I could find in any grocery store is a "Carb Smart" one with splenda (made by the Klondike bar folks)... They have 100 calories and 7g fat (calories per gram: fat 9, carb 4, protein 4 - don't know what that means). Seems like there has to be some regular brand of sugar free out there and I'm just not seeing them! What are all of you eating? Help! I had a friend make her own out of sf/ff chocolate pudding - put it in popsicle molds and freeze - but I'll do that as a last resort.

Thanks,

Rebecca

Hi nitenurse,

I will agree that the Kroger brand fudgsicles were slightly different in texture; mine felt icier than the Fudgsicle brand. I went to Kroger today, and they had Fudgsicles and Popsicles 1/2 off, so now I have two boxes of real Fudgsicles. I just had one (the empty stick is in my mouth right now), and it tastes richer than the Kroger brand, almost like it is dark chocolate. So maybe the extra buck or so is worth it!

Anyway, I just moved yesterday in fact from Canton to Ann Arbor, so you're not too far away! I was living in Canton and started law school last fall at Ave Maria, and the 15-mile commute got to be annoying when I couldn't stick around school because I had to go home and take out my dog only to head back to school for whatever. Now I am 4 miles from school and living in a much nicer complex for only $50 more per month. I just took a 45-minute walk with the dog around here, stopped in the middle by the lake, and sat and watched the ducks-- the weather is perfect right now and the complex is beautiful!

Where are you a nurse? A really good friend of mine is a nurse at Beaumont I believe in Royal Oak...

I just bought this package with the sugar free popsicles, fudgesicles and creamsicles. The fudgesicles are actually sugar free with 0 grams of sugar (uses Splenda) and only 35 calories - delicious!
