South Beach Ketchup
Makes 1 cup
Ingredients:
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
3/4 cup tomato paste
2 tablespoons sugar substitute
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1 1/2 tablespoons malt vinegar
Instructions:
In a large pot over medium heat, combine the tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar substitute, onion powder, soy sauce, cloves, allspice, and vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes. Refrigerate until serving. (Keeps covered in the refrigerator for 1 week.)
