It's easier to make healthy meal choices when you have all of the ingredients ready to go & recipes ideas listed & quick to choose from.

There's no rules for how to meal plan.
You can plan certain meals for specific days,
or simply list the week's "choices."
It's ok if you don't end up following your plan; life happens.

Other bonuses include:
* A less stressful early evening
(because you KNOW what you're going to make).
* Money savings (less eating out).
* Fewer trips to the food store.

Won't you give it a whirl?

Here's another thing I do....
SAVE my meal plans from the past (I email them to myself & put into a separate "meal plans" folder). Later on you can refer back to them for effortless future meal plans!

Phase 3...

Monday: a big salad with romaine, cukes, tomatoes, onion, avocado, cheese, chicken (canned white meat), and balsamic vinegarette

Tuesday: pizza burgers (lean ground beef, pizza sauce (3g sugar), and part-skim mozzarella), steamed artichokes, and three bean salad

Wednesday: pork chops and cabbage - a new recipe I am excited to try

Thursday: broiled tilapia with mango salsa, broccoli, and cauliflower

Friday: grilled steaks, mixed grilled veggies, corn on the cob

Saturday: fish (don't know what/how yet), green beans, and spinach

I will also make a salad every night and probably include some whole grain sunflower bread with most dinners.

Some of my dinner ideas are not SBD because my DH refuses to change the way he eats. But I only eat SBD legal foods out of the dinners I make. Sorry in advance if I tempt you with bad foods.

Sun- Homemade Meatballs, Baked Potatoes(everyone but me), and a salad

Mon- Roasted Chicken, Grilled Veggies, Pasta Salad(not for me)

Tues- Pork Cutlets flatened and rolled with peppers and onions grilled in soy sauce, teriyaki and orange juice, white rice & Salad. I'll just have a salad with pork cutlet cooked plain

Wed- Pork Flautas with homemade salsa & guacamole, Beans and spanish rice. I'll just have a salmon fillet with veggies

Thus- Steak Fijitas with homemade-very-bad-for-you-flour-tortillas, leftover beans and rice. I'll have a large Steak salad with salsa

Fri- Tuna Steaks, grilled veggies

Sat- They can order Pizza for all I care, LOL. I'll have a salad with the tuna, YUM
