I watch 30-minute Meals on Food Network and have gotten some great recipes. Rachael Ray is the host and she is awesome. I recommend her if you haven't already watched. Not all her meals are appropriate for SB dieters, but I did make this one particular meal tonight and it was SOOOOOOO good. Very SBD friendly and so easy to make a monkey could do it. It probably took 20 minutes tops. Plus my son also enjoyed it because he loves burgers. I made it with the ground sirloin b/c I happened to have some but you could also use ground turkey. No fancy ingredients, either. The only thing I would add is that if you don't have a grill pan you will need one extra-large skillet or two medium ones. It serves 4 but DH and I split it down the middle and I was stuffed!!! I'd think this would be okay for any phase of SBD. Enjoy!

I love Rachel Ray! She always makes the best food! Although I haven't been watching her since I started SBD I'm anxious to try this recipe out, thanks so much for sharing it!

I'll let you all know what I think after I make it...

Actually I didn't even have pickles in the fridge, so I guess the only part I cheated on was using regular cheese. I didn't use much, but I loathe low-fat American cheese! Now the shredded lowfat cheddar is great, but I didn't have any of that, either! It is very delicious regardless! I think I'm going to make it again next week. (Did the link on my original post not work? Thanks for posting the whole thing!)

I actually don't mind American cheese, probably not a good thing, LOL. But you can use virutally any cheese you want, that's the beauty of these kinds of recipes. Let me know what you think of it if you make it!

I made this yesterday and it was really good. It's definately a keeper. Made it for 3 adults and we barely put a dent in it. It makes for a big salad.
