Quick Meal Ideas?

I always try to have something in the freezer or pantry that I can use to prepare a quick dinner for my kids if we are in a hurry or if the adults are having something that the kids won't eat.

However, I never seem to have handy meals that are SBD friendly. Aside from preparing ahead and freezing, "what do you have for dinner when there is nothing in the house to eat?"

Let's see if we can get some ideas going here!!

Our favorite "quick" meals.

I always have frozen chicken tenders. We make a quick "Chicken Pamesan" in the microwave...cooken chicken tenders almost completely, then add nsa spaghetti sauce and finish cooking, top with moz. cheese and serve with a salad.

Have hard boiled eggs on hand...make a quick "chef salad" with eggs, some diced turkey or ham, whatever is on hand.

Quesadillas....we do these with leftovers. put cheese, whatever meat is leftover (chicken, beef, etc) add veggies (onions, peppers, tomatoes) and heat a can of black beans.
