It's easier to make healthy meal choices when you have all of the ingredients ready to go & recipes ideas listed & quick to choose from.
There's no rules for how to meal plan.
You can plan certain meals for specific days,
or simply list the week's "choices."
It's ok if you don't end up following your plan; life happens.
Other bonuses include:
* A less stressful early evening
(because you KNOW what you're going to make).
* Money savings (less eating out).
* Fewer trips to the food store.
Won't you give it a whirl?

Here's another thing I do....
SAVE my meal plans from the past (I email them to myself & put into a separate "meal plans" folder). Later on you can refer back to them for effortless future meal plans!

Going to work on mine now (just went food shopping - I know, I should have planned BEFORE going).
Tonight/SAT: Grilled trout with grilled eggplant and leftover whole wheat & regular pasta (I mix equal parts).
SUN: not sure - maybe turkey sandwiches for them, chef salad for us. I have to make a big salad for the teachers luncheon tomorrow. Maybe shrimp cocktail (I have it in freezer).
MON: BBQ Chicken with roasted broccoli (if it's not too hot to heat the oven).
TUES: Grilled catfish seasoned by food store with lemon-pepper... with marinated cukes.
WED (first day of school): Hebrew National Hotdog party for Ali I think. With baked beans for them.... Not sure what else, maybe the spaghetti squash casserole (below), salad
TH: Spaghetti Squash casserole (maybe)... not sure what else.
FR: Salmon patties or Omelettes - -
SAT:
Ok - so I guess I wasn't as ready to meal plan as I thought! ::: blushing :::
Susan :)
Monday - Thai shrimp burgers, tomato slices & cucumber salad (phase 1)
Tuesday - Grilled Asian Pork Chops, Baby bok Choy, Edamame beans
Your meal plans always sound so delicious Cathy!
