Question about PB Cookies...

Hi everyone....I've been making the SBD friendly Peanut Butter cookies the past couple of weeks...and they're great!!  I gave the recipe to a member on one of my Boards, and she was wondering if anyone knows the sugar content of these cookies.  Her DH is diabetic and she wanted to know if they were safe for him.

I told her that the natural peanut butter I use has 2 grams of sugar per serving, and I'm not sure about the Equal.  Does anyone know?

TIA....

I don't know if this will help:

"Both the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) recognize Equal as an acceptable part of a diabetes meal plan. In addition, Equal is a free food exchange on The Diabetic Exchange Lists for Meal Planning."

It's from the equal website. OK now I found this - maybe more like what you are asking for??

"Each serving of Equal has zero calories and less than one gram of carbohydrate."

Hope that helps!
