Anyone try cranberry sauce with Splenda

Has anyone tried making their cranberry sauce with splenda instead of sugar (I don't like the canned stuff - I always make my own). I asked someone in my office who bakes with splenda because her husband is diabetic - but she does her cranberry sauce with sugar because she's not sure if it would congeal with the splenda. So I'm curious to see if anyone's tried it.
It's only a condiment so it's not the end of the world to me if I make it with sugar - I usually only take a small portion.
