Yummy Dessert - Strawberry Pecan Salad

A light and tasty SBD-friendly dessert:

Strawberry Pecan Salad
CRUST
2 cups crushed pecans
3/4 cup trans-fat free spread (such as Smart Balance or Fleischmann's Premium Olive Oil Spread)
3 tsp sugar (substitute)

FILLING
1 (8 oz) cream cheese (light)
1 cup sugar (substitute)
1 medium size Cool Whip (Lite or Free)

TOPPING
1 (6 oz) box strawberry Jello (sugar free)
15-20 oz fresh or frozen strawberries
2 cups boiling water

Mix crushed pecans, sugar, and melted butter.
Press into a 9 x 13 glass dish. Bake at 400 degrees F
for 8 minutes. Cool completely.

Mix together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on top of cooled pretzel
crust.

Dissolve Jello in boiling water, add frozen strawberries
(water will melt them) Let stand for 10 minutes.
Pour mixture onto cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Thanks for this recipe! It's really scrumptious. Made it last night using walnuts instead (since I didn't have pecans). It's also really beautiful -- would make a nice Christmas dessert :)
