Had these last night on the BBQ and they were GREAT! And YES this is the name of them too from the Company's Coming recipe book.

BEST PORK CHOPS: (from Company's Coming Cookbook)
Garic Marinade:
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
1/4 cup oil (olive)
3 tbsp lemon pepper ( I didn't use this much)
4 garlic cloves (recipe called for 2 but I love garlic)
6 pork chops
Place chops in shallow dish and pour marinade over top. turn until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes. Drain, reserving marinade. Boil marinade in small saucepan for 5 minutes. Preheat BBQ to medium. Place chops on grill and cook for about 25 minutes turning and brushing with marinade until porkchops are tender.

Thought I'd review this/bump it up. It was one of the first recipes I got off this board way back in Jan and its one I have used quite a few times! And we aren't know to repeat recipes very often, but this one we do! We just LOVE the flavor in this marinade. Its best on the grill, but good broiled in the oven too.

I was planning on making this but realized my grill is out of gas. Do you recommmend baking or broiling it instead?

I would broil them because MichaelAnn suggested that in her post. But, I'm sure they would be fine baked also.

Thanks Cathy! Sorry, I only looked at the last post with the recipe...I didn't see Michael Ann's suggestion earlier. Thanks for responding so quickly!
